I included this as I like to have people keep an open mind but for my money, setting up a static splash page, a sales page (like they are promoting in this video but with the flexibility of a regular wordpress blog, probably like one you are already using today) IS quick and IS easy and you don't need a sp[ecial theme to do it!
You can create a static splash page on any wordpress site you want. It becomes your home page or landing page. And you can still have all kinds of content on other pages to help drive people to your site.
